TOUCH FOR HEALTH

Touch for health is the mostly widely used system of kinesiology in the world.
It is recognized and respected as a fundamental training for other kinesiologies as well as a healng modality in it's own right. It offers a safe effective way to maintain health, enhance well-being and upgrade performance. Developed from Applied kinesiology by Dr. John Thie DC, TFH training is open to anyone who is interested in health-care and self-help.

TFH Course Programme
The synthesis is taught over 4 two-day modules approved by the International
Kinesiology College. Your registered TFH Instructor will teach you the most up-to-date syllabus and methods and will issue an internationally-recognised certificate

Level 1 Enables you to perform a 14 muscle balance using muscle monitoring to identify imbalances in the system and to correct those imbalances using neurolymphatic, neuro- vascular and spinal reflexes as well as meridian energy work and physical work on muscle attachments....NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Level 2 Builds on your skills and introduces the Chinese law of the 5 Elements, over and under energy, food testing using sensitivity mode, the principles of yin and yang and more!

Level 3 Introduces facititation and inhibition theory, correction methods for gaits, postural problems and Reactive concepts which allow the body to work as a functioning whole.Pain tapping for chronic pain is also within this module.

Level 4 Develops the emotional work begun in previous levels and introduces new balancing methods. The 42 postural muscles used in TFH are reviewed; knowledge and application of stress-release techniques is enhanced.

After any or all of these workshops, you are well equipped to use the self-help techniques, balance your family and friends. You may join the Kinesiology Federation as a TFHer or student. You are also eligible to undertake many Advanced Kinesiology training programmes.

Level 5 Proficiency. This workshop reviews the entire syllabus, exanimes your eveidence of learning packs, assessess your knowledge and practical skills. You may take a formal assessment and earn the IKC proficiency Certificate. The Kinesiology Federation will accept you as a KF recognised TFHer. Individual modules recognised as CPD by the KF.

Metaphors and Goal Setting concentrates on linking emotional content with muscle and posture deficits. Helping in goal setting to achieve what we want linked to behavioural and sometimes physiological change.

Muscles in Movement and Reactivity building on the basic TFH concepts and principles, this workshop explores further the functions of muscles, the results of loss of integrity and new ways to approach restrictions in movement. Testing and balancing the important TMJ. Reactive concept extended to the subtle bodies and energy systems.

5 Element In-Depth making the connections and interpreting the information from posture, dialogue meridian patterns and 5 element energy map. Reviewing the underlying principles and the concepts. A pivitol point in the development of the TFH Kinesiologist.

INSTRUCTOR TRAINING
To become a TFH Instructor a student needs to complete the TFH synthesis and the advanced TFH training which includes revision of all materials and full assessment.
